UPDATE: Our team went to Jajarkot, where the earthquake destroyed homes and schools. Our team reached four village schools and gave relief items (warm jackets) to 750 Children.
TARA Himalaya Inc. is partnering with the Nepal Center for Youth and Family to relieve people suffering from earthquake disasters in Jajarkot and West Rukum in Nepal. TARA Himalaya is working with Ground Partners, who are working with local village churches. The leaders are working on gathering information and preparing warm winterization family packages with blankets, hats, shocks, and jackets and distribute them to those affected by the earthquake. Nepal Center For Youth And Family established Hope Camp after the 2015 earthquake and has gained a tremendous level of trust from village leaders, church leaders, and Government authorities. It impacted thousands of lives with relief efforts in 2015-16 relief through Hope Camp. This is an excellent opportunity for TARA Himalaya to Partner with the Nepal Center For Youth and Family to provide relief to thousands of lives that are hit hard by earthquakes.
