This page contains information about Digital Bible Apps developed by various organizations. TARA Himalaya has not worked on or invested in these products. Still, we help certain apps mobilize, and leaders volunteer to localize/translate them to the language of the Himalayan region. All the feature apps currently have Nepali and other local languages spoken by different ethnic groups living there. We proudly promote these resources because they benefit families, youth, children, and leaders.
- Bible App For Kids: (The Nepali language is available after changing the
app settings.) This app contains 40 stories from the Bible and visualizes them with text and audio voice to take children through the stories of the Bible. You can click on this download link, go to their page, select your desired device platform, install the app, change the language, and download the stories. YouVersion and OneHope created this app in partnership. As volunteers, we helped localize the app to the Nepali language alongside other volunteers. - Holy Bible (The Nepali language is available only for the content, not for
the app interface) YouVersion developed the Holy Bible App. Over dozens of languages spoken by ethnic people groups in the High Himalayas region are included in this Bible App for free download. Some of them even have both text and audio available in the app. We are helping with mobilizing volunteers to localize the app interface and hope to finish making the Nepali language also available for the app interface. Download and Install the app according to your device’s operating system. - Nepali Bible and Bhajan App. Nepali Believers around the world can
use the Bible in both audio and text and benefit from this app, whether for personal study, house fellowship, church, or youth group. These apps have helped hundreds of thousands of believers in Nepali diaspora communities worldwide. Nepali Bhajan includes all the traditional hymns, choruses, and gospel music and is popular among Nepali-speaking believers worldwide.
